Steeped in history, Wythenshawe Park has 275 acres of picturesque landscape.

Our escorted rides travel through beautiful woodlands and past wild flower meadows within Wythenshawe Park, bringing you a piece of the countryside within the city of Manchester.

Bring your family for a leisurely ride around our 'oasis in the city' on horseback or accompany the ride in our horse drawn wagonette (horse back riding is available all year round and the carriage operates seasonaly)

We have a selection of horses and ponies offering riding for adults and children aged four years and over, novice riders are welcome and we have faster rides at 10 am Saturdays and Sundays and during the week days, by appointment, for the more experienced rider.

Each weekend during December we offer horse and carriage rides, complete with sleigh bells, to visit Santa in his festive grotto. All children recieve a gift from Santa and vouchers for hot drinks and mince pies at the newly refurbished Courtyard Cafe.

Wythenshawe Park boasts a wealth of activities from crazy golf, par 3 golf, Tennis, bowls, bouls, Multisports play area and playground. There are beautiful formal gardens to brows, a community farm a 'safari walk' and a 500 year old Tudor Hall to explore.
